AHEAD OF THE SHOW’S MUCH-ANTICIPATED RETURN IN WINNIPEG STARTING MAY 12

WINNIPEG, MB (FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2018) @Cavalia #Odysseo – As the logistic and technical teams are working on completing the Cavalia Odysseo Village at the intersection of Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard for the much-anticipated return starting May 12 of the largest touring show on earth, Cavalia Odysseo’s 70 magnificent horses are enjoying a relaxing 10-day stay at a nearby equestrian facility.

After sold-out performances in Phoenix, Arizona, the four-legged stars were transported to a lavish facility in rural Manitoba, in specially equipped trailers alongside Cavalia Odysseo’s equine specialists. The Cavalia Odysseo herd comprised of horses of 13 different breeds – including the Appaloosa, Arabian, Canadian Horse, Warmblood, Lusitano, Paint Horse, Percheron Hanoverian Cross, Quarter Horse, Selle Français, Thoroughbred, Spanish Purebred (P.R.E.), Miniature Horse and Warlander – is under the care of Cavalia Odysseo’s 20-person stable team.

At their retreat, the horses are surrounded by spacious paddocks, where they can bathe in the sun and roll in the grass. This interlude between shows is part of Cavalia’s horse care and training philosophy, which is based on understanding the needs, preferences, and emotions of the animals, and on mutual respect, kindness, patience, and trust.

The world’s largest touring show, Cavalia Odysseo is a show unlike any other on the planet, an immersive theatrical experience in which horses are front and center.
